Recently i started complete rewrite of Django Suit based on Bootstrap 4 and supporting Django 1.8+ releases. More detailed description on why and what will change, including status updates with screenshots you'll find in following github issue. There is already v2 demo available and instructions how to install it in the github issue. It is still in alpha version, so not ready for production yet. However I am personally already using it for some real projects of my own.
